Cosabella officially began in 1983, and when translated from Italian into English, means "beautiful thing." In the beginning, Cosabella imported fashions from Italy and sold them to American women. Importing goods from other manufacturers was not cost-effective or sustainable, however, so they decided to start designing and producing their own creations. 

To this day, every piece is manufactured in Italy. Since first premiering in the mid-eighties, Cosabella has expanded its brand to over 35 countries and has been featured in Sex and the City, Vogue, and many other iconic media. It is also a favorite amongst celebrities.
